The ALPA 12 Platform
The ALPA is much more than just a camera. It is a modular platform that contains six camera models, with dozens of high-performance lenses and an extensive selection of accessories, with many viewfinders, roll film-backs up to 6X9, and adapters for all commonly-used connections to digital backs. |

The ALPA 12 TC (The Travel Compact) The ideal traveling camera – there is nothing comparable. Some see the ALPA 12 TC as the digital successor of the defunct Hasselblad SWC, but in any case, it is the smallest and lightest 6X9 roll film camera for professionals. At the same time it is also the smallest and lightest digital camera with more than 60 MP. The 12 TC is fully integrated into the ALPA platform and all lenses; from the extreme 23mm wide-angle to 250mm focal length can be used (of course only if that image circle is sufficient for the chose format). Accessories can be attached on all four sides of the frame: for example, a viewfinder, a small fingergrip, a massive hangfrip, a flashlight, a spirit level, a small exposure meter or whatever else is required. The entire ALPA range of accessories is available together with many accessories from other manufacturers. ALPA is and remains an open system. |

The ALPA 12 MAX (The Integrated)
This latest ALPA model is, of course, also fully integrated in the modular ALPA platform. It sets new standards among the word’s top cameras. The ALPA 12 MAX can be used freehand as a well as on the tripod. It offers horizontal and vertical shift and allows for extensive stitching. It does this, moreover, without allowing the lens to move, thereby preventing unwanted stereoscopic effects. With the ALPA 0-6 degree tilt/swing adapter as well as with some highly interesting software solutions, completely new photographic horizons can be explored. The two integrated shift sleds are mounted on roller bearings that can in no position slide outside of the camera housing. Stability, durability, optimal weight and pleasing size complement each other. |
